At Turbo Tips, your privacy and data protection are our top priorities. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our digital tipping platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you provide during registration and use of our platform, including your name, phone number, email address, and payment transaction data. For merchants, we additionally collect business name, address, CliQ alias, and employee information. For tippers (customers), we collect only payment information necessary to process the transaction - no account or login is required.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used to process tip payments and CliQ transfers, verify your identity and merchant status, improve our platform and services, comply with Jordanian financial regulations and anti-money laundering requirements, and send transactional notifications related to your payments.
3. Data Security
Turbo Tips uses industry-standard security measures including advanced encryption for data in transit and at rest, PCI-DSS compliant payment infrastructure through HyperPay, row-level security on all database tables, secure authentication via SMS OTP verification, and strict access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only.
4. Data Sharing
We share your information only with HyperPay (our payment processor) for transaction processing, Gate2Pay (G2P) for CliQ instant transfers to employee bank accounts, regulatory authorities when required by Jordanian law, and Sentry for anonymous error tracking to improve platform stability. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and language preference. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand platform usage patterns. No advertising cookies are used. You can control cookie settings through your browser.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access your personal data held by us, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your account and personal data, and receive a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@turbopay.org.
7. Data Retention
Transaction records are retained as required by Jordanian financial regulations. Account data is retained for the duration of your account and deleted upon request, subject to regulatory obligations.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via their registered contact method. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
