Welcome to Turbo Tips. By accessing or using our platform, mobile site, or any services provided by Turbo Tips, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. About Turbo Tips
Turbo Tips is a digital tipping platform that enables customers to tip service employees directly via QR code scanning. Tips are processed through HyperPay (credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and transferred instantly to employees' bank accounts via CliQ through Gate2Pay. All transactions are processed in Jordanian Dinar (JOD).
2. Eligibility
Merchant accounts are available to registered businesses operating in Jordan. Tippers (customers) do not need an account. They can tip by scanning a QR code and completing a payment. By using our services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or have parental consent.
3. Account Registration
Merchants must register with accurate business and contact information. Account access is secured via phone-based OTP authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
4. Payments and Fees
All payment processing fees are displayed before transaction confirmation. Fee structure consists of a fixed fee per transaction bracket plus a variable percentage. The merchant configures whether fees are borne by the tipper, the employee, or split between them. There is no subscription or monthly cost for merchants to use the platform.
5. Refund Policy
Refunds may be requested within 14 days of a transaction for eligible cases. Completed tips that have been successfully cashed out to an employee's bank account cannot be reversed. To request a refund, contact support with your transaction reference. Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.
6. Cancellation Policy
Once a tip payment is processed successfully, it cannot be canceled. Merchants may request account cancellation by contacting support. Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 30 days before the desired termination date.
7. Cashout and Delivery
Tips are delivered electronically via CliQ instant bank transfer to the employee's registered CliQ alias. Transfers are processed automatically upon successful payment verification. Merchant accounts are activated within 24 hours of registration approval.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, trademarks, and software associated with Turbo Tips are the property of Turbo Tips. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of any intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
Turbo Tips is not responsible for delays or failures caused by third-party services including banks, card networks, or payment processors. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service availability. Our liability is limited to the amount of fees paid to us for the specific transaction in question.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
